Assigned Subject Descriptions

The list below contains the Assigned Subjects for the 2020 Extended Summer Schedule. Adjacent to each subject is a description detailing the type of images that may be entered. 

The descriptions will be read to the judge at each competition. It will be at the judge’s discretion to disqualify an image if they feel it does not meet the description.

Macro & Close-Up Photography – Items in your Home
May 18 The subject must be a macro or close-up image. A macro of anything found in your home. No birds, flowers, insects or other living things. 
Macro & Close-Up Photography  – Nature June 22The subject must be a macro or close-up image. The subject should must be found in nature. Flowers, plants, tree parts, animals, birds are all allowed.
 Macro Photography –Food July 27The subject must be a macro or close-up image. The subject should portray food that would normally be consumed by people. No flowers or live birds.

All zoom programs and competitions begin at 7:30pm unless otherwise noted. All Zoom login information will be sent to our members on the day of the virtual program or competition.
